Spécialisée dans la conception et la fabrication de produits alimentaires « santé » innovants, Basal Nutrition veut offrir une réponse à ceux qui souhaitent préserver leur santé par l’alimentation. Les gammes de produits développées à partir d’ingrédients bio, équitables et souvent locaux, vont permettre de prendre soin de son microbiote intestinal avec gourmandise.
Créée en mars 2020 par Sandrine Salaneuve-Vautherin, Dominique Giannotta et Bernard Barlet, trio pluridisciplinaire issu du domaine agroalimentaire et passionné du goût, Basal Nutrition lancera prochainement ses deux premières gammes de produits, l’une offrant un choix de prémix riches en fibres aux vertus prébiotiques et l’autre composée de différents shots lactofermentés de fruits riches en probiotiques. Soucieuse de proposer des produits innovants et gourmands, l’équipe de Basal Nutrition proposera des farines originales de lupin, de châtaigne et de drêches de brasserie, favorisant ainsi l’économie circulaire, mais également du sucre et des poudres à lever; pour sa part, la gamme de shots lactofermentés de fruits sera déclinée sous forme de cures visant à rééquilibrer, renforcer l’immunité, vitaliser ou entretenir le microbiote intestinal. Actuellement en phase de finalisation du packaging, l’entreprise devrait lancer ses prémix sur le marché d’ici avril via des enseignes bio locales, des marketplaces et restaurants orientés santé et sur leur site Web en cours de réalisation.
Lauréate 2020 du réseau Entreprendre Loire, Basal Nutrition bénéficiera durant 2 ans de l’accompagnement de deux chefs d’entreprise expérimentés et bienveillants pour développer son activité. « Un soutien, en plus du prêt d’honneur accordé, qui renforce notre crédibilité auprès des partenaires financiers et enrichit la dimension humaine du projet » selon Sandrine Salaneuve-Vautherin. Bientôt installée dans ses nouveaux locaux, au Green Park de la Métrotech, l’entreprise se donne pour objectif d’être nationalement reconnue sur le marché de la nutrition santé d’ici 3 ans.

Specialising in the development and manufacturing of innovative « health » foods Basal Nutrition is looking to offer answers those who wish to stay healthy by eating well. Its product ranges developed from organic ingredients from fair trade and often local sources are a great way to look after your gut microbiota while still enjoying your food.
Created in March 2020 by Sandrine Salaneuve-Vautherin, Dominique Giannotta and Bernard Barlet, a multi-disciplinary trio with backgrounds in the agri-food business, Basal Nutrition will soon be launching its first two lines, one offering a choice of high-fibre premixes with prebiotic virtues and the other a selection of lacto-fermented fruit shots rich in probiotics. Keen to offer products that are both innovative and tasty, the Basal Nutrition team will be bringing out an original range of flours, lupin four, chestnut flour and brewer’s spent grain flour, thereby supporting the circular economy, but also sugar and baking powders. The lacto-fermented fruit shots will be marketed as restorative cures intended to rebalance, boost immunity, revitalise or maintain the gut microbiota. Currently at the stage of finalising the packaging, the firm expects to launch its premix range by April in local organic shops and markets and health-oriented restaurants, as well as on their own website, which they are in the process of setting up.
Winner of the 2020 Entreprendre Loire network prize in 2020, Basal Nutrition will benefit from 2 years’ support from two friendly business leaders, who will help them to get their business up and running. « Practical support that enriches the human side of the project, and a loan on trust, which will help us to boost our credibility with financial partners, » comments Sandrine Salaneuve-Vautherin. Due to move into new premises at the Métrotech Green Park soon, the firm has set itself the goal of being becoming a recognised nationally name on the health food market within 3 years.
